A live online seminar with Wade Robson
Exploring dancer Symptoms, Origins, and Solutions
for dance parents and teachers.
Sometimes the dancer in front of us is still showing up, still working hard, still smiling for the judges—
but something has changed.
Dance feels heavier.
Mistakes feel scarier.
The joy feels quieter.
What once felt like freedom can start to feel like a constant test.
DANCER S.O.S. is for the adults who love and lead dancers—and who want to understand what their dancer may be carrying beneath the surface, and help make dance feel like a place of growth, expression, and joy again.
In this two-hour live Zoom seminar, you’ll gain a clearer lens for recognizing what your dancer may be experiencing—and a more grounded way to support them through it.

When dance starts to feel like too much
You may notice in your child or student:
Fear of mistakes
Need for approval
Constant comparison
Perfectionism and “never good enough”
Self-criticism
Low confidence
Burnout or loss of joy
These are signals.
Together, we’ll explore the symptoms dancers may be experiencing, the origins that can shape them, and solutions that can help create a more supportive way forward.
Not less commitment.
Not lower standards.
But a stronger mental and emotional foundation beneath the dancer.
For the adults supporting the dancer
This seminar is for dance parents, teachers, and studio leaders who want to help young dancers:
Feel encouraged and supported without too much pressure
Grow without tying their worth to achievement
Stay connected to their internal motivation
Remember that their path does not have to look like anyone else’s
Your guide - Wade Robson
Wade Robson is an Emmy-winning choreographer, director, dance educator, and Life Mentor with 40 years as a dancer, 30 years as a teacher, and 6 years of one-to-one Life Mentoring.
He fell in love with dance at two years old and began dancing professionally at five. By eighteen, he had choreographed for artists including Britney Spears, *NSYNC, and Usher. By twenty-five, he was a two-time Emmy-winning choreographer.
Behind the success, Wade was living with pressures many young dancers know too well.
Anxiety. Perfectionism. Comparison. Fear of mistakes. The belief that he had to be the best in order to be worthy.
A profound personal reckoning led him into a healing journey that transformed his relationship to dance, self-worth, and success. He found his way back to dance not as a test of his value, but as a place for curiosity, expression, play, and service.
Now living in Hawai‘i with his wife and son, Wade mentors clients and teaches dance around the world. Drawing on his lived experience, decades in the dance industry, and his work as a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner-in-training, he offers grounded, compassionate guidance for navigating life’s emotional complexities.

They do not need to be extraordinary to be worthy.
They do not need to be flawless, famous, or first.
They need to be truly seen. Heard. Loved. Guided—but not forced into a mold that was never theirs.
Let’s give dancers the support they need.
