Helping teens feel more at ease, grow in confidence, and know that they belong.

Is Your Teen Struggling with Anxiety, Grief, Pressure, or Self-Doubt?

Growing up can bring confusion, comparison, and the pressure to fit in or succeed.

Some teens are also navigating grief, family changes, or difficult experiences that leave them feeling overwhelmed.

Teen Life Mentoring offers personalized one-on-one support for ages 13–17 to build confidence, navigate challenges, and feel more comfortable being themselves.

Ages 13–17 · 60 minutes via Zoom · $150 USD

In these sessions, your teen can learn tools to:

  • Navigate stress, anxiety, and panic attacks with greater understanding and practical grounding tools.

  • Find support through grief, family changes, and the effects of difficult or traumatic experiences.

  • Ease harsh self-criticism, build confidence, and feel more comfortable socially.

  • Understand their emotions, express their needs, and set healthy boundaries.

  • Navigate relationships, social media, and the pressure to fit in or succeed.

  • Explore their own goals and reconnect with what brings them joy.

Wade Robson—Why I Do This Work

I’m a father, Life Mentor, dance educator, and childhood trauma survivor. My own life has also included periods of depression and anxiety, struggles with social confidence, profound grief, and the ongoing work of healing.

These experiences, along with more than 30 years as a teacher, have shown me how deeply young people need to feel heard and supported.

I bring this lived experience together with my professional training in Somatic Experiencing®, applying its principles throughout my work with teens and adults.

I’m committed to listening deeply and offering the support I wish I’d had at their age.

Additional Support for Teen Dancers

Teen Life Mentoring is open to teens of all backgrounds. For those in dance, I also bring an inside understanding of the pressures they face—through my own experience and what I’ve witnessed in my students.

Our work can address competition, comparison, perfectionism, body image pressures, and self-worth—while always caring for the whole person behind the dancer.

A Note to Parents

Your teen’s emotional and physical safety—and their willingness to participate—come first.

The first session begins with a brief conversation between the parent or legal guardian and me to connect, answer questions, and discuss the direction of the work. Parents may also review my recent background check.

Sessions may be recorded for accountability and kept private. Full consent, confidentiality, and recording terms are provided before booking.

I’m not a licensed therapist. Life Mentoring is not therapy or crisis support.

This is a partnership of care. I want parents to feel informed and teens to feel safe, respected, and heard.

Getting Started

Begin with one session. It starts with a brief parent conversation, followed by one-on-one time with your teen.

Meaningful change takes time. If it feels right to continue, I recommend at least four additional sessions to build trust, practice tools, and begin creating positive shifts.

Sessions can be booked individually or in discounted four-session packages, with ongoing support available as your teen grows and new challenges arise.
