WADE ROBSON

Wade Robson began his public life in the entertainment business as a creative force for Stage, Film, and TV. He started as a professional dancer at 5 years old, eventually becoming an actor, dance teacher, choreographer, stage and film director and music producer. He designed, Directed and/or Choreographed world tours, music videos, commercials and TV appearances for the likes of Britney Spears, NSync, Pink, Mya, Usher, Aerosmith, Demi Lovato, One Direction, Nikki Minaj, The San Francisco Ballet, MTV, So You Think You Can Dance, Dancing With The Stars, and Cirque Du Soleil, as well as collecting two Emmy awards, along the way.

In 2011 and 2012, at career peaks, Wade suffered two nervous breakdowns culminating in him leaving the entertainment business and privately disclosing, for the first time in his life, the child sexual abuse he experienced at the hands of his idol and mentor, Michael Jackson. Thus, Wade’s healing journey began.

In 2013, Wade went public with the truth about his childhood abuse and in 2019, HBO produced the documentary film “Leaving Neverland.” The film documented Wade’s and fellow survivor James Safechuck’s childhood abuse at the hands of Michael Jackson, to critical and audience acclaim, was one of HBO’s most watched documentary premieres of the last decade and one several awards including an Emmy for best documentary.

Wade now travels the country teaching healing through dance to hundreds of thousands of children and adults. He also has a thriving Life Mentoring practice, where he works with adult clients all over the world, helping them to heal from child abuse, depression, anxiety, and trauma of all kinds.

I had no idea what this course would be like but at the very moment the Zoom started, it had a profound effect on me. To be in a space where everyone there had experienced something like I did, left me in awe. Here I belonged, here I could do things and say things I’ve never said out loud before. And that’s what I did. It was terrifying but long overdue and I felt a weight lift from me with the help of those in this sacred space.
